Ascension City is the starting point for the entire metaverse and MMORPG within the world of Destoria, set in the distant future many years after "The Withering." This metropolis serves as a hub for players to connect and engage in different storylines. It is also the gateway to the rest of the game library, where players can choose to either delve into Ascension City or discover other worlds, realms, and settlements outside of the immediate city. Ascension City is a marvel of modern engineering and a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. After the last major Withering, a catastrophic event that nearly destroyed all life on the planet, the survivors came together to rebuild and create a new world.

Located on a massive floating island, the city is home to a melting pot of cultures and ideas, with citizens and residents from all corners of the globe coming together to create a safe and thriving community. Out of necessity, the residents of Ascension City are driven by a common goal: to build a better future for themselves and their descendants.
